“The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach – waiting for a gift from the sea.”

  1. Really love the softness in this image, and the composition and the saturation… this is really my kind of image.

      • It was taken a little bit north of me. I used to live up that was. The Queensland coast is a very gorgeous part of the world. But it still takes still to capture it well.

      • Tracie – so you are closer to Brisbane, then? I love Queensland, looking forward to returning. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Maybe Christmas. Mr. Perkins is depleting our travel funds faster and faster. It sucks. Poor little guy.

      • I am 3 hours north/west of Brisbane… 2.5 hours from the coast. I would dearly love to be closer to the coast… but I do get there as often as I can… and I am off to Brisbane again next week. I’m not a city person, so it’s nice to be living in the country but so close to such an awesome city. If you do get back here, let me know… maybe we “do lunch” or better still…. a photo shoot 🙂

    • Thank you. This was an image taken a few years ago on my old work camera. It turned out well. I guess, I had the photo bug even then. 🙂 thanks for your comments and continued following. L
